Personal Story

"I was pretty excited when I got into Yale. It was without a doubt pretty cool, but I was more excited to finally finish high school and finally move on from there."

Useful Advice

"I'd say that the essay is the really important because it allows admissions officers to see personality and the humanity in an applicant.

After reading a bunch of reddit posts I realized that pretty much every applicant is more or less the same in terms of scores, extracurriculars, and pretty much everything. So the only way to really stand out would be to have an outstanding essay.

I'd recommend that people spend a lot of time working on their essay and speaking about who they are, what they have to offer, and why they want to go to the school they want."
